Members of the Customer Advisory Panel on Stewardship (CAPS) recently worked with OSV to talk about their current experiences and future developments in stewardship. The CAPS panel is composed of the leaders and directors of stewardship for their respective parishes. The group meets annually with leaders from OSV's Offertory Solutions division.

Move expands electronic offerings for parishes and dioceses

Our Sunday Visitor has reached an agreement to acquire a majority share of In The Round Design Group, Canton, Ohio, a company specializing in web site development and other communications technologies.

St. Paul Catholic Church in Fenton, Mo., offers Online Giving to its parishioners. Recently, a tornado demolished parts of the church. "We are absolutely glad we made the move to Online Giving,” said Bob Bira, a member of the parish finance council and stewardship committee. “We have seen increased and sustainable offertory. Even after the tornado, and for the first time in a while we are ahead of budget."

Like other businesses, the weak economy had the co-Cathedral at St. Thomas More looking for ways to cut back on spending, and offering envelopes happened to be an area to save a few dollars. While the church was initially happy with the cost savings from the new provider, they had issues arise almost immediately.
