OSV recycles approximately 572,000 pounds of scrap paper each year. That's about 286 tons of paper that doesn't go to a landfill, and according to a study done by Berkeley University that's the equivalent of saving over 700 trees a year! All of our rolls of paper are produced at Sustainable Forestry Initiative (SFI) certified mills, then converted at Forest Stewardship Certified (FSC) facilities before they're received at OSV. These SFI papers are obtained through the perpetual growing and regulated harvesting of trees with the protection of wildlife, plants, soil, water, and air quality.
